4 events in a line in the Frisomat Innovation Center
The Frisomat Innovation Center (IC) has been introduced to offer a platform. A meeting platform for all Frisomat
target
groups. Since virtually everybody can use an industrial building or pre-engineered
hangar, the Innovation
Center is much sollicitated.
A network reception, a lecture, a conference or even a course about the
renovation of façades. A high-tech congress centre in an industrial and green
environment.
Social Media
At the end of 2010, members of UNIZO (Organization for the Self-Employed
and SMEs) were our guests. The awareness is rising that the trend of Social
Media is becoming inextricable. Everybody is talking about Facebook, Twitter
and LinkedIn. But how do you have to deal with these as a business. This was
the subject of the meeting between business leaders. The closing speech was by
Annemie Turtelboom, the Belgian Minister of Internal Affairs. In total, there
were 80 guests.
Since a few months, Frisomat is actively present on different social
media. We are active on Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, LinkedIn and Flickr. On
each of these accounts you’ll find the latest news on our pre-engineered
buildings and hangars.
Throbbing engines
Begin January, BMW Motorrad was the one to held an event. On the
occasion of the Brussels Motor Show, an intense course was given to the
temporary employees. The Innovation
Center was the ideal
location for this event.
Disposing of several state-of-the-art meeting halls in the Innovation Center, the participants could learn all
different aspects about motor engines in the best circumstances.
Heroes, brands and politics
Mid-January we had a famous speaker at Frisomat. Guillaume Van Der
Stighelen, famous for founding the marketing agency Duval Guillaume, gave a
very interesting lecture. How to make a hero out of your brand ? Each brand has
its history, and this story has to fit on a beer mat. No unrealistic or
complicated promises. Each brand must be strong and has to tell a good story.
This event was organised by the main political party in Schilde, our
neighbouring village. After the lecture, the 200 guests blend together during
the reception.
Antwerp as a tourist
destination
By the end of January,
the Economic alumni students of the University
of Leuven met at Frisomat
for a New Years’ Day meeting. The lecturer was Philippe Heylen, the Antwerp
Alderman for Culture and Tourism. His subject was about his projects to put Antwerp as a tourist
destination on the international map. After a very interesting lecture, people
discussed this matter during the drink afterwards. With a lot of best wishes
the 80 guests returned home.
